Hello! Meet the face behind Bittersweet Social. 👋

My career began in 2016 as a social media intern at a full-service advertising agency in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since then, I've been drafting campaigns and overhauling social media accounts for brands. I've had the opportunity to work in B2B, B2C and D2C, specifically with hospitality and tourism, food and beverage, CPG, wholesale, night-life entertainment, cannabis, luxury home builders, nonprofits and more.

I'm passionate about creatively telling a brand's story,  showcasing them in a light that cuts through the clutter and makes an impact. How? By humanizing them to their target audience–one campaign at a time.

When I'm not working, you can find me running on the lakefront,  eating out at a new restaurant or playing with my cattle dog, Pepper.

Why the
persimmons?

Two reasons. The first is the simplest, and that's because they're my favorite. There isn't much I look more forward to than a perfectly ripened, basically mushy, persimmon in the fall.

The second, because although persimmons have been associated with good luck and longevity in Japanese culture, they also serve as spiritual symbols for transformation. A reference to their sharp and bitter taste when unripe–ignorance–which becomes sweet as they mature and fully ripen–wisdom.

I'm holding this symbolism at the helm of Bittersweet Social's mission–in the hopes that it will transform not only your business' digital marketing efforts, but your relationship with social media as a whole.  I'm here to nurture your brand, growing it and transforming it from a bitter state, to a sweet one.
